Rotary Club hands over £3.5k to good causes
The Rotary Club of Newtownabbey has donated around £3,500 to a variety of good causes in the local area.
The club recently held an event at Corr’s Corner Hotel during which president Leonard Sproule handed over cheques to local schools, charities and voluntary organisations.
Among the recipients were the NI Hospice and Children’s Hospice, The Martin Residential Trust in Glengormley and Hill Croft School in New Mossley.
Members of the local Rotary Club raise money for various charities and good causes throughout the year.
