Salvation Army gathering

Members of The Salvation Army in Ballymoney have taken part in one of the biggest ever gathering of Salvationists in its Ireland division.

Commanding officers Captains Edmund and Joan Archibald led members of the Ballymoney church to Belfast for The Salvation Army’s Ireland divisional congress.

General André Cox, who is the world leader of the 1.5 million-strong church and charity, was the guest speaker and Captain Joan said: “It has been a privilege to take part in such a special event, made even more special by the visit of General Cox.”
