Seagoe PS gets go-ahead for increased admissions

Seagoe Primary School will be able to admit more pupils from this September,

Education Minister John O’Dowd approved a proposal to increase admission and enrolment.

The approved proposal will see the enrolment rise from 249 to 313 pupils.

This will permit the school to increase its admission number from 36 to 45 pupils,

Minister O’Dowd said, “The evidence shows that there is a consistent and increasing demand for places in the area.

“An increase in the approved enrolment at Seagoe Primary School will help cater for this demand,” said the Minister.

“Taking all of the relevant information into account, I am content to approve this development proposal.”
