St Comgall's lobbyists claim they are 'snubbed'

CATHOLIC parents in Larne were "snubbed" by authorities planning the future of post-primary education, it has been claimed.

SDLP councillor Martin Wilson, who chairs the lobby group formed to retain secondary-level Catholic education in the town, said the formation of the all-abilities St Killian's College had been presented as a fait accompli and without "meaningful consultation".

Speaking after St Killian's principal-in-waiting, Jonny Brady, hosted a well-attended open night, Cllr Wilson said the St Comgall's College Support Group (SCCSG) had been left "completely out of the loop".
