Connor McNeill (19), Whitesides Hill, Portadown, admitted being drunk in charge of a vehicle at McDonald’s car park. Meadow Lane, on October 25 this year.
At Craigavon Magistrates Court last Wednesday he was fined £120, ordered to pay a £15 levy, and given ten penalty points.

Police arrived and spoke to McNeill who was sitting in the vehicle in the car park. An evidential breath test gave a reading of 57.
A solicitor representing the defendant said his client had only been driving since March as an ‘R’ driver.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said McNeill could consider himself lucky to only be prosecuted for a drunk-in-charge offence.
He added the defendant’s licence would be revoked and he would have to resit the test.
