Tickets still available for Seamus Loughrey Memorial Night

THERE'S still some tickets left for the Seamus Loughrey memorial evening which is being held in Portrush next weekend.

The event - at Lush! Kelly’s, on Friday, October 22 - is being organised to celebrate Seamus’s life, his work and to say thank you and raise funds for three charities - Macmillan Cancer Support, Northern Ireland Hospice and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The organisers have lined up a great night’s entertainment hosted by BBC duo Sarah Travers and Alan Simpson and will feature Plug & Dominic, The Band for U.N.C.L.E. (featuring The Groove Robbers and The Jungle VIPs horn section with keyboards) and special guest appearances from Henry McCullough, Bernard Loughrey and Anthony Toner.

Bernard Loughrey will perform the beautiful ballad “A Single Yellow Rose”, written and recorded in his brother’s memory and he will be followed on stage by a wealth of talented local musicians.

Tickets, priced 10, are selling very well but some are still available from Homemakers Discounts Coleraine, Morelli’s, Portstewart, Kellys, Portrush, Causeway Enterprise Agency and online at www.seamusloughrey.com
