Top marks for Lisburn accountant

LISBURN Accountant Amy Munroe received an award for top marks in her final professional exams at the annual dinner of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants held at Belfast City Hall recently.

Amy, who works for Bombardier Aerospace, was the top achiever in the Enterprise Strategy exam.

Congratulating Amy, Patrick Barr, Chairman of CIMA Northern Ireland said: “We are delighted to recognise the exceptional accountancy talent that our colleges are helping to nurture and the encouragement the students are getting from their employers in both our local private and public sectors. Many students choose the CIMA professional qualification because it is internationally recognised and so provides global opportunities.”

Bombardier Aerospace was also voted ‘Favourite Employer’ for a second year running in an internet poll of CIMA members and students and the University of Ulster at Jordanstown was voted ‘Best Tuition Provider’.
