Police officers are urging residents to “allow extra time for their journey” due to Belfast Zoo “being busier than usual” over the Easter weekend.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Over the Easter period, Belfast Zoo will be busier than usual.

"Please allow extra time for your journey, be considerate to other road users, adhere to instructions from car park attendants and please do not park on double yellow lines or coned off areas.

"Shuttle buses from the Valley Leisure Centre will run daily from 10.30am to reduce traffic.”
