Trio captured on CCTV damaging car, Magherafelt Court told
Jonathan McKay (19), of Mullaghboy Heights, Magherafelt and Christopher Terence Langmead (22), Gortin Crescent, Dungannon, were each sentenced to four months in a Young Offenders’ Centre, suspended for four years.
Gavin Holmes (19), Greenvale Park, Magherafelt, who had a clear record, was ordered to carry out 60 hours of community service.

Hide AdSentencing had been adjourned from a previous court on charges of criminal damage and disorderly behaviour.
All three were each ordered to pay £170 compensation to the car owner.
A PPS lawyer said McKay and Holmes were observed kicking the car wing mirror while Langmead jumped on the car at Garden Street on February 13 last year.
She said they were later apprehended by police and said they were drunk. Damage totalling £500 was caused in the incident.

Hide AdCounsel for the three said they wished to apologise for their behaviour.
One of the lawyer’s described it as youthful exuberance which had got out of hand.
District Judge Alan White remarked that this type of activity pollutes town centres in towns across the Province.
