Twelfth goes global

Worshipful District Master of the Royal Black District in Lurgan, Victor Stewart, told how he took great pride in the fact the cultural event attracted visitors from all over the world.

Victor said: "I had a barbecue up at the house after the Twelfth and there were guests there from Scotland, England, America, Norway, Switzerland and Australia. It was a great day and it was great to see people from all over the world join in the celebrations.

"I'm proud of what I am and I was extremely proud of the Twelfth celebrations in the town. A lot of hard work went on over the past two years into putting it on and everyone involved deserves credit."
