Two further arrests in relation to Coalisland garage murder

Two more men have been arrested in relation to the murder of 32-year-old Gediminas Stauskas, whose body was discovered in a garage near Coalisland last month.

A 27-year-old man was arrested by police this morning in Dungannon while a 41-year-old was arrested in Coalisland.

Both men are being interviewed at Dungannon police station.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison said: “The suspects have been arrested as part of the overall investigation on suspicion of assisting an offender and withholding information.”

Last week a 34 year old man was remanded in custody charged with the murder of Mr Stauskas whose body was found in a garage at Moor Road on October 15.
