No order made or hearing date for Foyleside petition

THE High Court in Belfast on Wednesday (June 12) made no order in a civil action taken by the company behind Foyleside Shopping Centre against clothes retailer Fosters Retail Limited.

No date was set for a future hearing.

Foyleside Limited, had brought a creditors’ petition on June 12, 2013, due to “monies due and owing.”

The action had been filed in relation to Fosters Retail Limited and Brendan Duddy.

An entirely distinct creditor’s petition was also listed with the High Court on Wednesday.

The Department of Finance and Personnel’s Land and Property Services took the action against a Mr Brendan Duddy for what the Northern Ireland Courts Service has listed a “failure to comply with statutory demand.”

On Wednesday - also at the High Court - this petition was adjourned until August 12.
