UUP Alderman pays tribute

ULSTER Unionist Party Alderman Mary Hamilton has paid tribute to former SDLP mayor of the city Kathleen McCloskey who sadly passed recently.

Mrs Hamilton recalled her former local authority colleague with fondness and expressed her sadness at Mrs McCloskey’s passing.

“I was deputy mayor in the year that Kathleen was mayor and I have great memories of that time. We had a great year together. She was a ray on sunshine in the council chamber and always had a joke to tell.”
