Valuable advice for job seekers
The Job Fair runs between 10am and 3pm on Thursday 16th June at Banbridge Leisure Centre.
Job Fairs are an invaluable tool for identifying employment opportunities as well as learning industry information and meeting recruiting ‘companies’ face to face. However it is essential that you go prepared. To ensure you get the most from the job fair, consider the following: Research the organisations that are exhibiting at the fair beforehand and prepare questions in advance if possible to ask them.

This includes dressing appropriately when attending the Job Fair. Keep an open mind – there might be companies you’ve never heard of which have great opportunities; companies you think you know might challenge your expectations about their culture and what they do; and some companies might offer roles that you don’t expect. Check the job fair guide online or on the day to see what they offer.
Come with a notebook – it will help you to remember their advice come application time!
