Video: Firefighters get in a spin for Hope House at Tesco Carrickfergus

Firefighters are gearing up for a pedal power initiative at Tesco Carrickfergus in aid of a Whitehead-based charity.

The spin cycle marathon is taking place today (Thursday) until 10pm at the Minorca Place store, with a second session running tomorrow from 6am to 6pm.

The event aims to raise funds for Hope House, a respite service for those going through a cancer diagnosis.

The charity will be manning an information stand at the event, with Fire and Rescue staff handing out safety advice.
