Vote for community groups

A previous recipient of an Ulster Bank Skills & Opportunities funding award, Lenadoon Community Forum is urging people in the Lisburn area to back three local community groups as they vie for a slice of the 2016 £2.5m overall Skills & Opportunities Awards pot.

Lisburn community groups Sentinus Lisburn, LCC Community Trust and Lisburn Enterprise Organisation have all been shortlisted in the current round of this year’s Skills & Opportunities Fund.

Lenadoon Community Forum was awarded £35,000 in August 2015 to help implement a range of education and employability programmes and Training Manager Sharon McCullough believes that votes from local people played a key part in helping them ultimately secure the funding support they needed.
