Wilson McMullen Architects raise money for the RNLI

ARCHITECT My House 2010 was a great success for young local business, Wilson McMullen Architects.

In its first year it has raised in excess of its target of 500 and netted a satisfying 960 for the RNLI.

Architect and Portrush Lifeboat Crew Member, Ben Wilson presented the cheque to Shelly Pinkerton, Chairman of Portrush RNLI Fundraising Commitee.

After Shelley thanked the Ben for ‘their tremendous donation to the Portrush RNLI Fundraising Group’.

Ben Wilson said: ‘It was a privilege to raise the money for the Portrush RNLI Team. I know from experience how important voluntary donations are in helping our lifeboat service save lives’.

Architect My House is an opportunity for anyone to receive professional advice and guidance from Architect and Portrush Lifeboat Crew Member, Ben Wilson, in exchange for a donation to the RNLI.

Whether it is inspiration for a new extension, creating additional living area, or reorganising and modernising your home, Ben has helped many over the creative hurdle.

“Architect My House” ran this year throughout May and June in the run up to the RNLI Raft Race Weekend. Its popularity and uptake meant that Ben was still receiving consultation requests well into July.

Due to its success this year, Ben has decided to make it an annual fundraiser for the RNLI.
