The event was open to the entire community with the emphasis on fun for the kids with a few things for the grown ups.

There were 3 bouncy castles for the kids only, but one in particular with a sizeable wrecking ball inside caused a great deal of interest with some of the players who seemed keen to have go.

The cross bar challenge was won by Stevie Bartlett who successfully hit the cross bar from the 22 meter line with his gentle JCB like touch. Being Armoy there was no vegetarian option on the BBQ much to the disappointment to incoming Captain Mark Donald. However he was delighted to unveil the clubs new signings scrum half Eoin Scullion (from Ballymena) wing forward Gareth Wright (from Larne) and winger Paul McToal who is taking his first steps into rugby.

There will be more events to follow but firstly the team must continue preparations for the much anticipated season to come. Training as always is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm and as always there is an open invitation to anyone who wants to become a part of this fantastic and friendly wee club.
