Bann Wheelers CC are Interclub League Champs

The Coleraine Club were clear winners of the interclub competition and dominated from the beginning.

This is a league of races, one hosted by each of the six clubs, Ballymena Road Club, Ballymoney Cycling Club, Spires Cycling Club, Roe Valley Cycling Club, Carn Wheelers and Bann Wheelers. There are ten riders from each club in each race and points are awarded for the first ten places in each race.

There was also individual success for two members - Shane McDonald and Jane MIllar who won their individual leagues.

The Bann Wheelers also took the Mens Club League.

A special mention must also got to race newcomers Mark Johnston and Conor Bradley who finished 3rd and 4th in the overall mens league.

Bann Wheelers would like to thank all those who competed in each of the league races this year, and to all club race co-ordinators for organising “bums on saddles” at every race, and for the work they put in when hosting their own round of the league.

A special thanks to Sean Kealey and Davy Park who have managed and organised the Bann Wheelers team for each race.
