SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 19: Robert Clydesdale cleaned up in this particular Sunday sweep. Not only did he take the first prize but he also had the only two of the day and walked away with a tidy sum.

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 20: Young Scott Nelson played the 14 holes of this sweep in only five over par gross. His total of 36 points has only been bettered once this season. Jim Ledlie had 37 one Monday in June.
The twos pot was lifted by Philip Mallon who had the only deuce of the day.

Hide AdTHURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23: This was the last of the Thursday18 holes Stableford Opens. They have proved to be very popular and they have attracted quite a number of visitors to the club.
There has been a total of 22 Thursday Opens and Jonathan Ward has played in the majority of them.
He picked the right one to win because this result virtually secures the golfer of the year title. Another bonus for Jonathan is the fact that his handicap is reduced to three. He has had a brilliant season and this is the icing on the cake.
