Charity runs planned bylocal clubs

The inaugural St. Paul’s Run which consists of a 10k and 5k event will begin at 11am and participants are asked to register at the club pavilion (football ground) from 10am onwards. The entry fee for the 10k event is £10 and those in the 5k race will donate £5. Prizes will be handed out to the winners in both male and female categories,

Sarsfields will be pounding the roads around Derrytrasna this Sunday when the Great Rampart Run takes place.

The fund-raiser has been split into three sections, the Family challenge will get under way at 12.30pm (entry £5), the 5k event will start at 12.45pm (entry £5) and the 10k race will start at 1pm (entry £10).

Participants can register at Sarsfields hall on the day and special prizes will be on offer in all categories.
