Holm men have early advantage
Richard Kee’s side won the toss and decided to bat with Andy McBrine top scoring with 51 runs, while opener Thomas Riddles also scored well with 45 runs as they scored an impressive 244 for 7 off their 50 overs.
As for the Beechgrove men they struggled with Jordan McGonigle in particular tying them down with a super bowling spell which saw him finish with bowling figures of 10-2-19-4-1, Brigade’s only real shining light was bowler Richard Hepburn who scored a deserved 51, but after the first innnings the Waterside men were trailing by 103 runs.
