Thirds intolast eight
Lurgan Thirds have reached the quarter-finals of the Minor Qualifying Cup by beating Laurelvale by 8 wickets at Mullavilly Road.
Laurelvale batted first and were out for 114. There were two wickets each for Callum Gibson, Andrew Dawson and Jonny Gillespie while Qasam Mohammed and Nathaniel Ferris had one each. Callum Gibson scored 29 with the bat and Scott Wilson made 11. Andrew Sands (39no) and Jonny Gillespie (28no) saw the town side home to earn a home tie against Ballymena Fourths on the 29th June.
