Over the seven matches played the girls only lost two games, one in their league group before beating Lisburn Ladies and teams from London and Sunderland before losing to last years winners Boldon Town in the final.

The team of Lauren Currie, Lauren Gregg, Niamh Murray, Niamh Ruddy, Sacha McDowell, Sasha Malone, Grace Lavelle and captain Joanna Kerr gave their all in every game but in the final came up against a more experienced and physically stronger Bolden team.

Craigavon city would like to thank the parents who made the trip possible by a lot of hard fund raising behind the scenes.

Any young girls interested in joining the successful ladies/girls teams note training is on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Lismore School from 6.30 to 7.30pm.
