Meet the Lincoln Courts squad

Manager Gary Dunn gives us his account of his squad as they continue their quest for two trophies this season.

Lee Simpson (Goalkeeper) - This is Lee’s first full season with the first team. He is getting better with every game.

Tyler Moore (Goalkeeper) - Tyler he has been in and out of the first team this year, there certainly is a great future ahead of this young keeper.

Darren Street (Defender) - Probably the most underrated player in the North West. Darren is consistently good and can play anywhere.

Dean Cooke (Defender) - Dean is a great organiser and reads the game superbly.

Gordon Murray (Defender) - Gordon has been Lincoln Courts’ most consistent player this season. He reads the game well and never puts a foot wrong.

Darren Craig (Defender) - He returned to Lincoln Courts from Caw at the start of the season. He has a great left foot and loves a tackle.

Craig Simpson (Defender) - Tough tackling left-back and he is getting better with every game.

Jason Dougherty (Defender) - The veteran of the team, Jason has won many trophies with Lincoln Courts and would love to win another.

Trevor McDermott (Defender) - Big Trevor is one of the best centre-backs in the league, but unfortunately he has missed the last six months with injury, so won’t make the final. But still will be very much part of our squad on Friday night.

Billy Hutchman (Midfielder) - Billy is the engine of the team and when he plays well Lincoln Courts tend to play well.

Kolyn Patterson (Midfielder) - On his day the best player in the North West. He can also pop up with odd goal and could be the winner for the Casuals.

Stephen Mooney (Midfielder) - Captain Fantastic, he leads by example and never has a bad game.

Raymond Campbell (Midfielder) - He is back into the squad after six months out injury. He can play anywhere and never lets you down.

Mark Sproule (Midfielder) - This is Mark’s first year at the club, he is tidy and a great passer of the ball.

Gary Nutt (Striker) - This is his first year with the club and he seems to have settled in well as he has scored 30 goals. He’s also strong as a bull.

Mark Hamilton (Striker) - On his day can win a match on his own. He’s another unbelievable talent.

Craig Young (Striker) - Craig is a tall striker, who has moved up from the Reserves and has never let the first team down, can score important goals when needed.

Darren Lynch (Striker) - Another Reserve team player who has moved up this year. He is very neat and tidy on the ball.

Craig Mooney (Striker) - He’s a great talent and is getting better with every game.
