He said: “Every Manager has their own training styles and as its only after pre-season we have done a lot of fitness work and recently we’ve been working on the team shape to get us prepared for the season ahead.”
The signing of Taggart is something of a coup for the Whites after he had a fantastic season for Donegal Celtic in the last campaign.
Distillery are his boyhood club, however, and Taggart is relishing the opportunity to play for the team he grew up supporting.

“I’m really looking forward to playing a part in trying to help the club fulfil its ambitions of reaching the top tier once again.”
Last season’s top scorer Sean Southam, meanwhile, has been impressed with the new signings, who he hopes can spark a challenge for the top.
He said: “The new signings have been great. They’re a good bunch of lads and have brought a lot to the changing room.

With two games already down in Championship One, Taggart and Southam, who scored 19 goals last term, will be hoping to impress in next weekend’s game against Larne.
