They face another tough test tonight (Tuesday) though as they welcome Crusaders to The Showgrounds.

Oran Kearney though is hoping to build on the recent performances and keep their run going against Stephen Baxter’s side.

“We played well against Portadown, but it’s done and dusted now and we move on to the Crusaders game now,” said Kearney.

“We just have to make sure we get as much rest as we need before what is going to be another tough game.

“We have to make sure we come out with the same desire and endeavour we showed against Portadown.

“There’s so many tough teams in this league. That front two of Portadown will be as tough a striking partnership as we’ll come up against this season.

“So from that point of view we have to be happy with keeping a clean sheet that’s the building block we have to use for the games coming up.”

The winning numbers in this week’s lotto were 1, 6, 10 and 24. There was no winners so the jackpot is now £4,400.

The £50 winner was Jimmy Watton, Coleraine. The £25 winner was Johnny Donnelly, Coleraine.

A Garth Brooks Tribute band will play in the Social Club on Friday 12 September. Four of a Kind will be the support act and ticket, priced £10, are available from the club.
