’Stute get home draw

INSTITUTE will entertain junior side Rathfriland Rangers in the Irish Cup fifth round.

For boss Paul Kee he isn’t taking Rathfriland lightly and will be warning his players not to take anything for granted.

“At the end of the day we got what we wanted which was a home tie, but Rathfriland have earned the right to reach the fifth round and we know that they’ll be up for the tie, so we need to match their intensity,” admitted Kee.

“They have nothing to lose as no one will be expecting them to win, but we’ll show them the upmost respect and I can assure our supporters we won’t be taking anything for granted.”

The tie of the round sees a repeat of last year’s final with cup holders Linfield facing Crusaders, there are two other all-Premiership ties with Cliftonville entertaining Ballinamallard United and Portadown welcome Dungannon Swifts to Shamrock Park, while fellow North West men Coleraine host Ballynahinch United.

Those ties will take place on Saturday, January 12, 2013.
