Brian scoops Freeman Trophy honours

BRIAN Walker was the winner in week four of the John Freeman Memorial Trophy at Bushfoot.

Walker (10) finished with 42 points, two ahead of Desmond Walker in second place.

In the 15 to 28 section Bill Howard (20) took the honours with 43 points with Des Morrison (19) grabbing second place thanks to a better back nine from John Nicholl (18).

Meanwhile at Castlerock Julian Richmon and Geoff McMullan lead the way at the top of the Winter League.

The pair have 114 points, eight ahead of darren Mornin and Andy Henry in second place.

Kenny Hamilton and Russell Millar are third on 104.
