Kenny wins Captain’s Day at Gracehill

Liam Davidson’s Big Day as 2011/12 Gent’s Club Captain was a resounding success with the course in superb condition and the sun shining from morning to evening.

Kenny McMullan certainly enjoyed the occasion winning the 1st prize with a 41 point total 21 of which came before the turn.

Aaron Patterson was runner up also with 41 points and lost it due to countback with 18 points on the back nine following a superb opening 23 points.

In third was Gordon Willis who also won the front nine with 23 points from Aaron and Seamus McAleese .Paul Scullion was forth overall with 39 points, the same total as Alex Steele in fifth. The back nine was won by William McQuiston beating Kenny McMullan Paul Scullion and Geoffrey McLean all on 20 points.

The lucky 13 twos scores came from Alex Steele, scoring an Eagle on the long par four fifth (well done!) and the rest were on the conventional Par Threes and came from the following twelve golfers.

The longest Drive was won by Stephen Barr and the Par Three Competition was won by Harry Spence.
