On Sunday the final of the Club Champion singles knockout competition sponsored by David Forbes, Faughan Valley Golf Centre was held, between Paul Duffy and Bernard Kelly.

With Bee being down four holes at on time he fought back to bring it to one down, coming to the 17th hole.

Unfortunately for Duffy he put a ball out of bounds which left things level heading to the 18th tee box, where the inevitable happened Paul again put his first ball out of bounds, and let Bee in to win, well done to them both for giving us a nail biting match.

This weekend we are hosting a weekend stableford competition and a reminder to all members that the time sheet is now up for Captains which is on Saturday, July 28.
