GOLF:Rathmore Golf Club to hold Open Day

This event be held on the Valley Links, courtesy of Royal Portrush Golf Club, and will be a medal competition with prizes for the top five nett scores and the best two gross scores.

Best front and back nines will also be rewarded with prizes.

The entry fee for visitors will be 16 and for members 5 inclusive of the twos competition. If you wish to take part it is advisable to do so soon.

To help the running of the day, a time sheet will be available and the contact number is 028 7082 2285.

The event is being sponsored by Specsavers and the entry fees will go towards the funding of Rathmore's Juvenile Locker Room Building Fund. This is a project well worth supporting so get your bookings in early.

Maybe Specsavers' involvement will ensure 'no lost balls'.
