Hide AdOn top of this he has come back from Scotland a completely different player from the one which left Glenavon a couple of seasons ago. He has been built up during his time away and he spent Saturday using his newfound strength to his advantage.
He has found a new gear in terms of his quickness too – indeed that was a key element in the build-up to his goal.
Plus he has developed an eye to play a great pass which, in games to come, will hopefully create chances for Mark Miskimmin and Tony Grant to put away.
Given too that he’s still settling back into the set-up it’s fair to say there’s more to come from Sammy Stewart.
