New sponsors for Jumps Ahead

The pony class, which has been going for over 20 years, will be sponsored by Europa Foods, Kilrea and the horse class, which had its inaugural year last year, is being backed by Richmonds Store, Coleraine.

Brian Kelly, of Europa Foods, has had an interest in horses for some years and is pleased to be able to sponsor this showjumping competition.

Colin Richmond, owner of the Richmond Store, has an agricultural supply business and in the past few years has developed a very extensive saddlery and equestrian clothing shop.

The qualifying competitions are held at shows throughout Northern Ireland with the National Balmoral Championships in July.

Both classes get underway at the Seskinore branch show at Ecclesville, Fintona this Sunday. The other qualifiers are at Banbridge Show on June 12, Mid Antrim PC Show at Dunmore Park on June 19, Londonderry and Limavady Show on July 10 and at the Pony Club Area Show Jumping Championships at Shane’s Castle on July 14.
