INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

CLOUGH RANGERS ATHLETIC 5, BALLYCASTLE UNITED 2

Clough took an early lead after James Andrew scored and three more goals scored by Ross Steele 2 and Nigel Boyd saw then four goals clear at half-time. Ross Steele then completed his hat-trick on the 62nd minute but Ballycastle came back with two good goals scored by Darren Morrison and Paddy Dallat on the 70th and 74th minutes. Referee Mr Gary Crawford

O’GORMAN CUP ROUND 1

PORTGLENONE 0, RASHARKIN UNITED 2

Half-time in this game saw the scoreline blank as both teams concentrated on defence during the first forty five minutes. The second half saw both teams open up a bit and it was Rasharkin who got the crucial first goal when Jonny Nicholl scored on the 76th minute. Portglenone had to chase the game after this but could not get the elusive equaliser then on the 90th minute Lee Barr scored the clinching goal for Rasharkin.Referee Mr Kenny Bigger

DUNLOY 2 FC BALLYNURE 1

Dunloy were early on the attack taking the lead after Paul Storey scored on the 10th minute and one would have thought more goals were to come. Unfortunately this was not to be the case as both teams made the game into a mid-field battle with the second goal being scored for Dunloy by Benny McGarry on the 86th minute. Ballynure were not to be outdone but it was too late when Adrian Murphy scored on the 90th minute. Referee Mr Tony Young

After their set-back at Carniny the previous Saturday Ballymoney were in no mood to lose two on the trot and set about their task by attacking at every opportunity. This policy paid off when Colm Kirgan scored their opening goal and then sealed the win after Mark McPherson scored. Referee Mr Steven Gregg

GLEBE RANGERS RESERVES 2,RACEVIEW ATHLETIC 2

Glebe enjoyed the better of the attacking play in the first-half and went in at half-time leading by two goals scored by Warren Morrison on the 18th minute and Gareth Henry on the 24th minute. As half-time was almost reached Dave Campbell converted a penalty for race view on the 45th minute to bring them back into the game. Raceview then went on the attack in the second half but Glebe held them at bay until Denver McGavock scored a deserved equaliser on the 80th minute to give the teams a point each. Referee Mr Wm McConaghie.
