Sports Trust qualifier held at Royal Portrush
Robin won with 40 points off his 16 handicap even with a nasty seven at the sixteenth. Prior to that blip he had four three pointers in a row from 12.
Two points back came 5 handicapper, Daniel McAleese, on 38. Daniel birdied 2, 7, 9 and 18 but had a double bogey at the fourth which pegged him back a little.

Hide AdThere was quite a gap between second and third with Robin Adair’s 32 points taking the final net prize, a steady round with just one blank hole at the fourth. Former Walker Cup Captain, Garth McGimpsey (+2), took the plaudits for the best gross of the day with a 72 which included birdies at the second and tenth holes.
