Batting first, Lurgan Thirds made an under par score of 120 all out with only Jonathan Hunter showing any form, making a well-played 32, including three boundaries.

Hide AdLurgan Thirds needed early wickets but these proved hard to come by. Jonathan Hunter bowled a fantastic spell finishing with 1 for 20 from 6 overs and was very unlucky not to have better figures as he beat the bat on numerous occasions. The other wicket takers were Callum Gibson (1-24) and Nathaniel Ferris (1-15) but Lurgan couldn’t curtail opener Healy who went on to a half century and led Ballymena to the semi-finals with a comfortable seven wicket victory.
